Timmy Chinchilla Pellet was formulated to always keep your chinchilla’s digestive system in tip top shape. You won’t go wrong with this high fiber pellet as it is primarily made of our great tasting American Pet hay. Timmy Chinchilla Pellet is specifically designed for adult, less active or overweight chinchillas and other small companion animals that require higher fiber and less protein to help reduce or maintain body weight. We have added just the right amount of vitamins and minerals to maximize your chinchillas health.
Our pellets are not only great tasting, they are smaller than standard pellets for ease of eating. Feed American Pet Timmy Chinchilla Pellet along with any of American Pet's Timothy Hay varieties to assure a well-balanced diet for your pet chinchilla.
Feeding
For best results, feed Timmy Chinchilla Pellet per your veterinarian recommendations. Pets vary between breed and weight, feeding amounts depend on the animal's independent needs. In optimal conditions, feed 1oz (28g) daily. In addition, feed unlimited hay per the chinchilla food pyramid. Always provide fresh clean water.
